What's something important you've learned recently?
That it doesn't matter how long you've known someone, it could sometimes be the people who have been in your life the least amount of time, that can turn out to be the most honest person in your life. yet the ones who were in your life for years, have grown immature, doubted your choices, doubted the person they knew meant a lot, and are the ones who turned out to be the worst influence. In other words, don't count on everyone, count on those who actually care and don't judge your choices because of their own past.

Until you've stepped in my shoes, done what I've done, and seen what I've seen, don't judge. I have a perfectly good idea about life. I'm not full of myself, I'm confident now and positive. I've gone from being an alcoholic to having a full time job, being sober, losing everyone around me, and I'm actually doing well for myself. Of course im gonna express it. I had the will to change and I've finally done it.

Actually a lack of experience can prevent you from even getting an interview so you don't get a chance to talk yourself up. Not everyone wants to work in hospitality either as their career and other careers can be harder to break into.
Resumes are the one thing that put you between interview and no interview. The first paragraph of your resume determines everything. I'm not saying every one does. Most people hate it. It's rare to find a person who loves dealing with the sht customers we all get lol. Most people aren't built to deal with it. Trust me I know. I'm not saying you have to go for your career asap, most people aren't able to until study is over. I have a bigger understanding than people let me show. Your all assuming what I'm saying, how bout messaging me personally and discussing it there?

As an employer I would prefer to hire people with experience in the job over inexperience, I very rarely een interview someone without experience in the job. It saves time and money on training. So yes, being inexperienced can work against you.
With some people it takes too much time and money. But for me, I'd happily take someone on to train them up if their inexperienced due to rough times getting a job. Obviously you focus too much on people who have the experience already, and not what on new people can bring when you train them up. Sometimes it's the new ones you train yourself that become your best employees. I've trained people myself, it's not hard to train. You've just gotta be patient and willing to support someone.

Some people try really really hard to get jobs but can't because of a lack of experience. Do you look down on those people too? What about people that are on Centerlink because they are studying for their career and can't get work yet?
Lack of experience never matters. I can guarantee that because I just talked myself into a managers position of a restaurant. I've never run one, but knew what was needed by it and gave small answers that persuaded but also didn't make me talk too much of myself. Best way to plot yourself anything, is to talk yourself up. I'm more than willing to help people with anything hospitality, it's my profession, it's still learning, but am high levelled for a 20 year old. All you have to do after talking yourself up, is putting yourself to the challenge of rising to the employee they are looking for. I've said this before, and I'll repeat it again, I give no fcks about people being on payments if their studying, single mums, all that sorta stuff, I hate paying for people that don't have anything going for them in life and decide to use their time drinking alcohol. From experience, it's a waste of money, big mistakes happen, and it's so much better having a job to earn more money to save up for something bigger than alcohol

Since I moved to Brisbane we became close again. We were pretty distant against each other before I was there. Me drinking had a really negative effect on us and we never got along. We are close now as I've become sober and a better person.

I'm not searching for work anymore. I've gotten what I want. I miss the job in Brisbane, and have the offer to go back anytime. But I prefer being with my family. I still work for the company at events, shows, doing promotions, everything. Just not admin at this stage. Once I start this newest job, I'll be moving away from Sunbury which will make everything 100x better!

Lol. The amount of times I've been told this... I'm not cocky. I'm super confident and know that I provide the perfect customer experience. You can go most places these days, and not get any satisfaction out of your experience. And when Im forever being told off my managers about compliments for my service, of course I'll be proud. no one knows what customer service is. I'm very picky, and have high standards and will tell anyone how to serve better, I've done it since I was a kid! Half of my jobs have been offered to me, by seeing previous service in other jobs. I decided not to hide who I am. I've always loved cars. And my job has just bought out my love for anything involving adrenaline. And I'm getting out there proving any female can do a mans job or a mans hobby. I refuse to let any opportunity down.
