I would tell the people I love how much I love them. I would also write down a list of all of the things I really want to do and give it to someone I love so that they can do those things with me in mind.

Personally I think there is no better time to start being a better friend than now, and that if you want to restart a friendship then go ahead. You don't have to let a friendship die, you can restart it whenever you want to. So if I wanted to restart a friendship with anyone then I would put in the effort to be a better friend to them.
Also keep in mind, you don't have to be friends with toxic people. I don't want to. And I have cut toxic people out of my life before. So even if I wanted to restart a friendship with them, I would, but I don't, so I haven't.

The people are a lot more polite and have a lot more respect for the school and the teachers don't treat you like a three year old and they actually care about you as a person
