What is necessary to have a good relationship?
Jesus Christ should be the most important person in the relationship. You should be able to trust each other and understand that you are going to make mistakes -nobody is perfect- but you should be able to recognise your mistakes and apologise for making them. You MUST be able to forgive & put the past behind you. You should be able to communicate when something is upsetting you without it ending in a fight. You must consider you partners feelings and ask yourself how he/she would feel if you do this/that. You should listen & pay attention to one another. Your partner could be going through some stuff and you won't know unless you pay attention. Hurt/sadness can often be seen in someone's eyes. You should look at your partners ugly nose, freckles, massive ears, huge forehead & still be able to love them with every ounce of your being. This person should make you so insanely angry that you want to punch your fist through a wall, & even though they make you feel like that at times you still know in your heart that it's all worth it because you truly love them. You should still tell them they're beautiful/handsome and you should still remind them that you love them even if you've been in the relationship for several weeks/months/years. You must respect one another and treat each other like the queens/kings you are. And most importantly, you should never go to bed angry or upset with each other because God works in mysterious ways. If you feel that your relationship is on the verge of being over, just look into each others eyes & if doing that doesn't make you feel something indescribable, stop wasting each others time. Pray. Pray a lot. Jesus is always there.
