do you really think you should go to HOY next year if you cant even get through a 1:10 course without knocking rails?? Im just saying maybe its better to wait another year untill you are more experienced & have a chance to get placed
the only reason she got rails on saturday was because we has a mishap and she lost her confidence a little... she was still super honest and jumped everything, any other horse would have stopped. i dont want to get placed at HOY i just want to go for the experience. getting placed would be awesome but its not going to happen

Discount saddles are fine. There's nothing wrong with them haha. They measure your horse and fit the saddle to them. I am getting one made for one of mine atm Brodog
People are stupid hah there's another one saying they are dangerous and have been taken apart by a master saddler, I wouldn't have a clue but I didn't think saddles could actually do 'damage' unless they don't fit :)

Those jumps aren't mine, someone's lending them to me and entry forms are a struggle tbh keeping pixie is hard and we cannot afford to go to hoy, yes maybe we aren't poor but did I say that? I don't get why you don't aim for a local (big) SJ show and groom for HOY 2014, then compete 2015? You're not a pony rider so the clock's not ticking (lucky you!) & if you're worrying about competing you mightn't be able to experience it fully your first time?

Where do you go to school? I'd assume somewhere in a smaller town, etc.? Why not get an after school job then a parent can pick up on the way through (unless you're on a working farm). I'm sure it's possible to get transport.

Um. I know SBs that regularly score 7-8s in their dressage test (unlike your 'good test' you put on national telly with 5-6s - sorry, but it's true). That counts as putting the breed down.

part 1: Look Georgia has done an AMAZING job with Pixie so what if she dropped a rail everything ****ing horse does it! so what if there was a moment when Pixie decided to be cheeky and bite, its all apart of horse riding and its what makes it so wonderful!

I have glasses mate :) I'm not disrespecting the breed but you can always tell a sb by its canter and if your telling yourself otherwise your kidding, yes they too show horses have awesome canters that are pretty much 3 beat you can always tell and it isn't gone unnoticed

pixie is your horse and you know her best I believe its not the breed of a horse that makes them amazing its their heart, any type of horse can jump but only if they want to and good on you for sticking with her she looks lovely

I get really annoyed by Campbell Live and you saying because Pix is a STB she has a four best canter! STB's can be trained out of that and should be. I own a three-beat STB. Do more flatwork with your horse and teach her correct cantering.
