Okay so to start off with it's a process, this kind of thing takes time to fix and heal, there is no simple guideline or steps to follow to make everything okay.. I have known Jade for long and we have been through a lot together, I had to work hard and prove to her that she was not making a mistake by taking me back, show your girlfriend/boyfriend that you are worth another chance. Show them with ACTIONS, words and essays are cheap in this situation and won't really do much unless those essays are of you genuinely apologizing. A good piece of advice is to make some changes so that you don't make the same mistakes again, most importantly spend some time thinking about what you have done and how much damage you have caused, the only way you can fix this situation is by fully understanding the damage that has been done. Listen to what they have to say and realize what pain they feel, most importantly DONT PLAY THE VICTIM. You did this not them, now work hard and show everyone that you are worth it and that you won't hurt them again. Most importantly you need to be honest with them and tell them nothing but the truth, lying will get you no were and right now honesty is the only thing going for you because the trust is gone and to rebuild that trust you have to be 100% honest all the time. You can't expect them to chase after you and check up on you that you are making an effort to get them back, you have to chase after them so they can see that you are making and effort and to show that you are determined to get them back, also be aware that they will take along time to forgive you, do not pressure them to forgive... leave them and let them forgive you in their own time.
