I believe "yote" would be simple past while "yeeted" is present perfect
Let's use the infinitive "to eat" as an example.
Simple past: "I ate."
Present Perfect: "I had eaten."
The two convey the same meaning but simply in different forms. To apply this with "to yeet" the simple past would be "I yote" while the present perfect is "I had yeeted".
I'm conclusion, both are valid to use but I'd say yote is better to use for writing while yeeted sounds more formal in a conversation.

Personally I like posting on tumblr more but either's great! The reason I like posting on tumblr more is
1) you can schedule your posts, which saves me a lot
2) I just like having a blog format, and Tumblr's post format in gneral
3) it is SO much more easier for your art to be seen since it can be shared by others, while on Instagram people need to find your page first
4) it's also easier to categorize your art and other pages? Sure instagram hashtags are cool too but I'd rather have a page
That's all I can think about for now about Tumblr lol, but I can suggest why instagram is cool too!
1) unless your tumblr is an all art acc, people aren't really going to see your art at first unlike Instagram where your page is just full of your posts
2) continuation of the first one where people can look at your art more easily?
3) I personally find myself being able to engage with others more on instagram, where as everyone on tumblr is an introvert hhdjsk
If anything, maybe post on both? Expanding your art over different social medias is best, but still in my opinion tumblr is better but that's just my two cents!

Do you have any tips for choosing colors?
I personally like using color palettes because of the harmony they create in a piece. I use coolors.co to mess around with some color schemes and find what I like! If you're also doing digital art, I tend to play with hue and saturation as well as brightness and contrast. Idk anything about color theory but there are some posts online you could search for about that. Play around with colors and see what you like!
