I would probably help them back up onto the platform tbh, but for selfish reasons, living with the guilt that someone has died when i could have done something to save them is more than my conscious could take, as welll as the fact that the other person is human, yes he/she rapes people, but that doesn't mean they don't have a family that cares.
Once i have saved the person i would call the police and report them, that way the person is no longer a danger to others or themselves and they can go for proper psychology to get over what makes them feel the need to rape
