I also broke away from Christianity seeking answers in Eastern religions...which is dumb because yeah it's all spiritual and stuff but what do you get from that? It lacks fullness and doctrine - these things are essential as they keep you on the right path.

I can't speak for all Eastern religions, but from what I've found it tends to be more of a philosophical than religious.
I disagree completely when people seem to think you need religion for values and such.

I don’t understand why when we destroy something created by man we call it vandalism, but when we destroy something created by nature we call it progress.
I actually don't know how much I agree with this statement. I agree with it. However, many massive global companies seem to make an effort to become more environmentally friendly . Obviously it's not enough, but people seem to realise the magnitude of destroying in the environment. Of course everyone could do more. But there are very few people who are like, "I destroyed this forrest, wow I'm fckin cool."
