I'm not happy and i am seriously depressed and i wanna talk yo my parents about how I feel and i wanna make my own decisions but i have a feeling that my parents will not be happy about it?
I think message me personally, I know you probably did this anonymously because you don’t want me to know who you are but trust me I won’t judge you and I’m always here to support and help ? just a few things I can say is that parents generally don’t like us making our own decisions because it’s a sign we are growing up and don’t need their input and influence as much. I think your best bet would be to speak to them anyway because either way they will learn to accept anything you put in front of them? on the other hand with your depression, try downloading an app called “Pacifica” it really helps with that and also anxiety, some more advice I can give to you is to count your blessings and not your struggles. The more positive energy you project the more comes your way, I know that it’s hard to do that most of the time but start small. Do things you love, read a beautiful quote as you wake up and right before you go to sleep, meditate ( I don’t know if you do this but it really helps ) also try to fill your life with uplifting things rather than sad ones, make sure your Pinterest or we heart it or tumblr or instagram is filled with love, positivity and happiness rather than sadness because remember - don’t consume negativity or it will consume you. Lastly, Depression is something serious, trust me I would know - but always remember that you can and WILL move on and you are strong enough to kick depression in the backside and build a beautiful and better life - one that you will grow to your full potential and become the best and fullest person you are meant to be.
