Is it safe for someone gay to be a Ladysmith High School learner without being criticised and ill- treated by other learners due to their $exuality?
To be completely honest with you, no it's not. As much as there are people who are okay with whatever $exuality the majority of the learners have some sort of stigma against gay people and I'm always preaching how they don't have to like it they just have to accept it and be civil towards gay people. They're okay with lesbians but they feel some type of way about gay people. I don't understand that. But if you're emotionally strong enough to deal with the criticism [which will die down after a while but only if you don't retaliate to the I'll treatment] I say you should come out. Gays are cool ??
