No, I don't dislike melbourne, It's just that I have moved a lot so I can compare it to other places I've lived. I don't think it's fantastic but I do like it for certain aspects and also it's not just the place itself that influences your thoughts and feelings it's more the environment you are in, the people you've met, the memories you have (good and bad) so basically your whole entire experience at the place you lived which determines how you perceive the place Haha hope that makes sense
