but the most you can do is learn to let them go, you can't beat yourself up over it because you'll make yourself feel worse. If you were meant to be together you would be as much as it hurts, if he truly loves you hell come back, but in the mean time you have to focus on being happy because clearly they weren't appreciative of having you, but that's his loss.
