In year 7 and then again in year 8 I did the 50 sugar free challenge where you go 50 days eating no refined sugars (fruits and stuff were okay). After about 14 days you don't even want sugar anymore. When I went vegan, I first went pesctarian, then vegetarian then vegan. I swapped milk for rice milk, honey for agave syrup and butter for coconut oil. If you crave hot chips, make them in the oven out of sweet potato :) they taste just as good :) kale chips are good one to try, you just put olive oil on kale and put it in the oven until they crisp up :) the best tip I can give about cravings though is to make sure you are eating enough, you are more likely to crave unhealthy foods if you are hungry, so make sure you are full of nutritious foods :)
I do 50 reverse crunches then 50 slow bicycle crunches followed by 50 really fast bicycle crunches :) it's okay if you can't do that when you start out, it took me a few months to be able to do that because I couldn't balance properly :')
I see the best results on holidays when I alternate everyday between running and working out ( dads a personal trainer so it makes it easy ahah). so run one day, workout the next day, run the next day, workout the day after and so on :)
I already had a foundation I suppose because I used to do a lot of athletics, but I only ever see definition when I'm eating clean and doing exercises at the same time. it's different for everyone but after about a month or less of clean eating I began to see a difference in my stomach :)

oh yay I love fitness questions!! okay so my favourite ab exercises are reverse crunches ( they are hard to explain, just put reverse crunch into google images and it will demonstrate), bicycle crunches or kick crunches and eagle crunches ( again with the google images thing). Also remember that you won't be able to see any definition in your abs unless you are eating clean. Because I'm vegan, most junk food is completely cut out of my diet because a lot of it contains animal products, but just for a few tips, I would recommend not eating any 'white carbs' like white bread, white rice etc. and swapping them for brown rice, brown bread, quinoa and stuff :) Eating clean is not about eating less it's about eating better and more nutritious foods. I would also recommend eying more frequently throughout the day. I eat 5-6 times a day, 3 meals, 1-2 snacks and dessert. For dessert I usually have fruit, Brazil nuts and agave syrup, but their are so many fruits out there, just fin some that you enjoy eating :) Don't feel embarrassed about asking me questions, I promise I will never judge you <3

However I do take iron supplements just because it's a good idea, especially for girls. You should be able to get good amounts of iron from a vegan diet, but it's important to eat well. You can be unhealthy on a meat-eating diet and unhealthy on a vegan diet, it's all about the nutrients you fill your body with. The recommendations for iron are for 9-13 year olds : 8mg per day, 14-18 year old boys: 11mg per day, 14-18 year old girls: 15mg per day, males over 19: 8mg per day, women aged 19-50: 18mg per day and women over 51: 8 mg per day. Good sources of vegan iron are spirulina (5mg), Cooked soybeans ( 4.4mg), Pepita Seeds ( 4.2mg), Quinoa (4mg), lentils (3mg) and many more. I got this information at the Care2 website from an article called 12 top vegan iron sources. Of course I am not a doctor, I am just telling you all I know about where to get vegan iron, so if you are deficient, best to take your doctors opinion over mine about taking supplements. Good luck on becoming vegetarian, I can say for myself that I feel so much better since being a vegan, I feel more energetic, my skin is so much clearer and I feel so great!

Calcium It is a common misconception that milk is a good source of calcium, when actually it is a terrible one. Milk contains saturated fats, allergenic proteins, lactose sugar and are frequently contaminated. It is linked with type 1 diabetes and other conditions. Milk also contains other things that stop the bones from absorbing calcium. Vegan sources of calcium include broccoli, sweet potato, kale, collards, carrots, butternut pumpkin, chickpeas, lentils, soy beans, tofu, rice milk, tahini, almond butter, almonds, soy, tempeh, wheat flour and bread, figs, sultanas and oranges. Protein is also extremely easy to find in a Vegan diet and there are even vegan body builders such as Jim Morris, Billy Simmonda and Amanda Riester. Good vegan sources of protein include tempeh, soy milk, seeds, nuts, tofu, broccoli, quinoa, chickpeas, nut butter ( peanut and cacao butter is so good if you don't eat it you are missing out big time), whole grain bread, lentils, beans and brown rice :) Bet you weren't expecting such a long and detailed answer!! ahaha :)
late January- early February ish. When I first was transitioning to eating a full vegan diet, I went from pescatarian ( eats fish), to vegetarian (doesn't eat any like animal body parts) to vegan (Doesn't eat any product that has come from an animal) When I first started eating vegan I did eat honey for about a month before switching to rice malt syrup and agave nectar ( which are actually so much better than honey omg yum)
It really all depends on the person. I don't use makeup and skincare that has animal products and now I only buy skincare that hasn't been tested on animals. I do have some makeup that isn't certified cruelty free, but I'm going to use that up before buying new makeup. A lot of companies say that they don't test on animals, but hire other companies to test their products for them, so it is very difficult to find products that have definitely never been tested in animals :( If you are looking for vegan, cruelty free cosmetics try Lush, as they clearly mark all their vegan products and never test on animals :)
nope :) I eat a full vegan diet which means I eat not products that come from animals. This includes gelatin and honey :)
