Nah it's more like where I am in that situation! If I'm at stereo, no bc there's too many strangers around = unsafe. Was bad first hour or so we came because there was no one there but we didnt realise there were more floors and when we went on the second floor OH MY GOD. it was SOOOOO packed and they played the best music and it was the best venue ever!!!!! the girls and I danced on the podium for pretty much the whole night ahhhh was sooo gooddddd

yes or maybe I am just struggling with uni. 2nd semester is waaaaay harder than 1st sem. And since my expectations are high, I have to work harder to get my goal of increasing wam. I was also quite behind in uni work so it took lots of time to catch up i guess. biomed is pretty hard i think, in terms of workload and content in comparison to other degrees (maybe on par with law, but defs below med)

what's the difference between a case control and a retrospective cohort study? askin 4 a friend
with a case control you start from the outcome (e.g disease) then you are trying to find the exposure (what caused disease). Retrospective cohort study is when you have already found the exposure and you try to find the outcome by going FORWARD in time. Even though it's "retrospective" you are still going FORWARD in time with your research, the only difference is you already have the DATA you are using at the beginning - but you must still follow up to find outcome

No I am studying more for uni than I was in year 12 hahaha it all depends though most people don't study much bc uni grades aren't that important they just need to pass. But since I wanna do post grad med, my grades matter heaps so I have to study hard. As of free time, I don't go to lectures but if I did, I would have about 25 hours a week of uni which is considered a lot

Pretty sure I've done this already but um I feel like exams helped for methods but make sure you do them in exam conditions and do it in like a quiet room or an unfamiliar room bc you want to mimic the exam room. Try to not use your bound book you shouldn't need to anyway and make sure you look at the type of questions students always get wrong ie. 2014 exam paper last q wasn't actually hard, it was just under pressure and students weren't used to seeing that form of question before so familiarise with all the types of q they will give u. Chemistry is a bit different I worked with lots of exams for the ones that req working out but for theory make sure you know how to explain the mechanisms behind things there are always typical questions you are given so try to understand those. I don't rly know what advice to give for chem I kind of winged the exam a bit bc it was stuff I haven't seen before or it was my last one so I was a bit out of it maybe do everything in exam conditions so that doesn't affect you in your final exam sorry for long winded answer that probs won't help but good luck

Idk I always """"kept my eye on the prize"""" thought about how worthwhile it will all be and basically made myself love studying so it wasn't a chore. Gym was good too and regular breaks and stuff. Making a list everyday helped a lot made me feel v organised yeah sorry v generic answer but make sure you keep motivated you're nearly done!

Try to sit down and conceptualise and study by topic rather than by doing a lot of exams. Do topic first then overall exam. When you do the topic ones gather questions that relate to the topic after you made sure u have conceptualised enough. Umm it might take a long time but it's worth it. Google stuff you don't know, watch zhan videos do anything to help you fully understand the concepts! It might end up being like a topic a day for each subject but it's worth it. Then towards the end do exams
