I know this might be hard, but try to calm down and think from their point of view. Theyre trying to help you get better, they care about you. They realize that you arent going to get better on your own and are trying to push you in a positive direction. I know betrayal is flooding through your mind, and I know youre upset and angry, I dont blame you. Just TRY to see it from their point of view, alright? Let them help you.
It must have taken a lot of guts for them to do that, Im pretty sure they realized that you probably would be pissed and not be their friend anymore, but they didnt care. They most likely thought that theyd rather you be alive, healthy, on the road to recovery, and pissed at them rather than you being sad, upset, unhealthy, possibly life-threatening, but still their friend.

I think you\'re afraid of what you will do if you do recover. If you recover you know you should be happy, but you dont know how to be. But heres the thing: you can be happy, but you have to work at it, want it, and tell someone how you feel. You have to be determined and throw away the blades. Failure is an event, not a person. My mom found out I cut and she told me that hurting myself isn't the answer. But she doesn't understand that it's to relieve pain, kind like the way she smokes to relieve stress and pain. What do I do ?
Its different. Cutting causes pain and smoking does not. Given both are bad for you, but self harm is different than smoking to relieve stress. You can stop smoking and be perfectly healthy, and smoking isnt a symptom of depression and it can’t lead to suicidal thoughts. Cutting can.
Anyone who cuts needs help. They need to find a good way to cope. Your mom isnt you. But shes right when she says you shouldn’t cut yourself. No reason is a good enough reason to hurt yourself.
