Your past is you and will always be you, because it's affected you and you have grown from that and learned and fought. Often situations that remind someone of their past, where the same thing happened and turned out badly, it's instinctual, because you've learned before that this hurt you and you struggled, and you don't want to go through that again (but whatever happens don't worry because you've over come them before and the storm will pass)

Imagine yourself standing on the edge of a tall platform. You look down and see a convicted rapist hanging from the same edge of that platform.
In detail what do you do to them? No weapons
Id first wonder how the fell and got stuck on the edge of the ledge. Then I would assume that it was accidental which is why i never saw another person on the ledge and are very strong to be holding on for so long (as i never saw the fall so obviously i came to the ledge a while after they got there) So then ill go with, they are strong enough to lift themselves up .
