Best way to get over a break up?
I’d say the best way to get over a break up or just generally get over someone you considered “your mans/girl” lol ..
1. Try cutting contact with the person who broke your heart. Keeping your distance from the person helps a lot and this means you shouldn’t be stalking their ig or facebook everyday, delete their number and try to not have any means of contact with the person you are trying to forget. It doesn’t help you trying to forget someone and you keep running to see what they post or whatever. Then what’s the point of all these? Might as well go running back to them.
2. Vent - honestly venting helps A LOT but BE CAREFUL who you vent to because you don’t wanna vent to just anybody and you become the talk of the city. Try venting to someone very trustworthy - ( I enjoy venting to my mom ) so vent, cry when you have to - talk about how bad it hurts!! Let it hurt until it can’t hurt no more. Honestly don’t let nobody tell you that you can’t cry or that they’re annoyed by hearing the same story over and over — I believe if they’re really your friend that’d listen to you vent. Whenever however!!
3. Forgive the person for what they did to you. Try not to replay the cause of the breakup or the bad memories in your head. Let them know that you’ve forgiven them - let them KNOW that no matter how hard it’s gonna be you’ll snail through it. Don’t EVER give them the satisfaction. Don’t show them too much weakness.
4. Don’t run around badmouthing your ex, IT WILL NOT HELP YOU HEAL !! It only makes matters worse because your ex will hear and he’ll start badmouthing you too and it’ll be madddd cycle and you don’t wanna go through that cycle.. Try to talk good about them , let the haters know that YOU WILL deal with the breakup like a human being. THIS IS JUST FOR INNER PEACE !!
5. Distract yourself a lot. Spend time with loved ones ( it really really helps ) — spend time, laugh, go on dates with friends, drink some alcohol, go clubbing, read a books, go to the movies - HONESTLY whatever makes you happy ! Do it.. because NOW more than EVER is the time to GLOW!! You gotta make your ex wish he never left your A$$ ( lol 80% of the time they come back when they see the glow and then that’s when you need to let them know that your heart is NOT a playground. ) ? distract yourself with the right things. Try not to use alcohol and weed as an escape from the heartbreak. GET OVER THEM THE RIGHT WAY.
I hope those help because honestly I’d say YOU ARE ALONE NOW so you have to focus on YOU. Deal with things the right way. Avoid doing things that’ll just trigger the heartbreak or breakup. Pray!!!! Prayyy!! They say you’ve never really been in love if you’ve never begged God to get over someone ! And that is true.. Remember that its a ONE MAN journey and you gotta push BECAUSE you will get over it. Time heals all wounds honey. ❤️
