I agree ! First off, I am a Christian. I believe the issue seems to be that in our society it has become near impossible to have an opposing view to anything that people feel could offend someone. If you were to try to say you dont agree with homo*exuality then you get torn apart. It's not just the LGBT community but those who want people to be able to do anything they want and not have anyone tell anyone different. I have gay family members but no I don't think it's right to hate them as a person. However I do believe it is in my right to not agree with their lifestyle. If your religious beliefs include the Bible then it is impossible to say you agree with the Bible and support homo*exuality. You don't get to pick and choose which scriptures you want to abide by. You can't say fornication and adultery and murder and stealing are bad, things condemned in the Bible but then say oh these other things, God didn't really mean that. As the scriptures say "God does not change". He is not swayed by popular opinion. That being said, I do feel if someone chooses a certain lifestyle that it's not up to me to "right the wrong". Each of us has their own choices in life. I won't be on a crusade to "fix it". That's silly. However just as individuals want the right to live how they want, those of us who don't agree should have the right to have our own opinions without feeling like we're the bad guys. When did it become a crime to not agree with someone?

My personal opinion is that God does want us all happy, but what makes us happy is not always morally correct. Once again God doesn't make me choice between my compassion for humanity and believing in His word. It is not my place to cast judgment, that is for Him to do.
