I'm 19, passed matric with a bachelor's degree at 17, paid for my own flight ticket home (ALL BY MYSELF) from England at 18, have a job and my own house at 19 and busy working towards buying my own car. My parents (both sets of them, the ones I was born with and the ones I've lived with for the last 3 years of my life when I was going through a bad time with my birth parents) are both super proud of me and are actually decent people. Maybe look to others that are or were pregnant and living off of their parents with the father of their child nowhere to be seen (at least mine stuck around) and tell me who's proud.
