My advice is that you should talk to your bf to see how he feels towards you, if he does not show any compas*ion towards you, i think you should explain to him about how you feel about, and his bestfriend,if he gets upset and starts to Bit** at you, i would suggest that you explain to him that you and him need to take a break for a while, if your bf understands, explain to him that you don`t really feel like he is the one for, and then maybe (JUST A SUGGESTION), you explain to him that you feel that you and him need to take a break for while, and move on with your lives. Then once you have done that, I suggest that you start to talk to his bestfriend and get to know eachother better, maybe even do that at the dance, and finally when you think that the timing is right, you tell your bf`s bestfriend about what you explained to your bf, and tell him how you fell towards him, if he agrees the same way, then just maybe you two are right for eachother, if he does not feel the same way, then you let him explain, and you talk to your bf about how you feel like you want him to be with you, if he agrees then everything will be back the way it is, if he does not, then i would suggest that you try to move on with your life the best you can.
