Sometimes its for the best, because situations make it that way, or sometimes people just get treated the way they treat others. I apologise. But, in reality, I don't think I have had that close connections with people that I have the power to hurt them. And tbh, no one should give that power to anyone.. because you should be in control of yourself and what affects you. That's what makes you stronger :)
