Numbers are infinite, they go on forever. When I was younger I tried counting for as long as I could, when I'd stop I'd keep track by writing the number I stopped at on a paper and then continued the next day. I got pretty far but then I didn't know what number came next, I learned that numbers are infinite and no matter how long I counted I will never reach the end in a string of numbers.
