In my humble opinion, I think you should go to that part of the internet where #HeForShe coexists with the progressive definition of feminism and educate yourself. It's not degrading to be a male feminist. It's not promoting matriarchy to be a feminist and it certainly is not abstaining the face that there are problems men are facing. However, even if I define what the word feminism means, society has formed a stigma in reference to feminism therefore you're going to use what you have heard as a precedent because let’s be honest, there is truly only very few who are open-minded enough to revolutionise their thinking based upon what a peer is saying.

The overall picture is that legally women have the exact same rights as men. Fem. needs to evolve to now talk about issues, not rights. That's harder than just a 'look how unlucky we are' club. Fem. does not equal societal change.

I moved schools because the commute was too much and I had a lot of mental health issues. I loved Uni High and met some really lovely people but a lot of the teachers suffocated me with attention whenever I spoke up about my problems and made me feel disconnected from the student body.
