i am a closeted gay at ur school, I have only told one person but I feel like the world will crash on me if I told the truth. How did you do this?
I had to learn to be comfortable with myself to begin with, accept the fact that i was gay but being so is just a small aspect of my overall characters so it doesn't define me as a person, just as it won't define you if you don't let it, you need to first accept yourself before others can accept you, and know that you don't have to do it all in one hit, tell a few friends maybe and work from there, but deffinetly start with yourself, and it's not a bad thing to be gay remember that, some are less accepting than others but most people are kind and comforting about the whole thing, people get it's difficult but they support you through the initial struggle, don't let yourself be ruled by your fear, take it slow and do things in your own time but know that being honest with others is an amazing feeling, but what's greater is being honest with yourself, I just set myself free of the burden, in my own time and shared that part of me with those I trusted, from there it took it's own course and I went with it, if you need a friend inbox me or come to me at school, I will have your back and I will also help you through this, I'm more than happy to help, good luck
