The reason your turntable wont make sound is because you need speakers and possibly (depending if yours is built in or not) a phono preamp. Hopefully this helps :)
It's got speakers, but no phono preamp although it worked 30 years ago. I have a feeling one of the million cords it has isn't plugged in somewhere, but thanks :) I'll still work on it
