Well it's difficult for me to imagine this situation bc my parents like my partners based on how happy they keep me.
If I'm happy and they can see its genuine, they'd love the person. If I'm in a toxic relationship and they know I should leave, it's very likely I already feel the same way.

Well, my family was going through a tough few years and to add to that, we had a house break in where approximately 200k worth of gold jewelry went missing, all of sentimental value and extremely old family heirlooms. My grandmother (dad's mum) gave my a pair of gold earrings as a baby which I wore on the day of the break in, but unfortunately my other grandmother's birth gift was stolen, so she handed me a the ring, and an old bracelet. So I wear the ring in the most valuable way... On the finger connected to my heart so i feel it's safe. ?
