I realise you've probably answered this at one point already but how do you know so much about different countries? I'm Polish and you've got that pretty spot on :D. Do you study different cultures, speak to people or just look up things online? :)
Ahah, mostly studying about them via the internet, looking things up, chatting with different people, the occasional book. Sometimes from my visits to said countries as well :-)

Do the citizens know about the nation personifications? If so, how do they treat them?
They do.
Abridged explanation: How they’re treated kinda depends on the personification, eg. China would be revered more as a higher power of sorts, Iceland feels more like a friend to her people than a demigod.
Said attitudes shift and change over time; eg. England used to be revered as god-sent several centuries back, but now he’s got a whole lot more self-hatred and as such is either loved or absolutely despised by his people.
These are only a few examples I can think of at the mo. There are other factors like belief systems and whatever that come into play, but I’m trying not to overcomplicate this explanation LOL

Heckloads of practice. Focus on stuff you wanna improve (Anatomy? Backgrounds? So on), and draw regularly. That’s all I can really say. :-)

Cold, reserved, and imposing, yet still has a decent heart when she deeply cares for someone. While she’s rough and stony-faced, her softer side often shows in making time to cook for her friends, attempts to make a guest feel at home, so on — but she seldom hesitates to bite back her sharp tongue when she’s frustrated. She’s willing to do what it takes to get something she wants.. so long as circumstances allow.
Some people reckon she seems quite lonely, but nobody’s really willing to press that further.

African countries are defs on my mental to-personify list. I’m just focusing more on Europe and Asia at the moment, and I’ll be reviving a few of my African personifications (the ones I haven’t posted on my account or drawn in a while) in my ongoing chibi project thingy.
I do understand that Africa is underrepresented in my series, so I’ll try make an effort to change that in the future.

Australia’s a gregarious lad who likes being the life of every party. However, he has no sense of self preservation. He’d snort crushed-up Tim Tams given the chance.
New Zealand is his sister, and has a bit more self awareness. She’s a teensy bit more patient and level-headed, but not when it comes to rugby. You don’t want to test her when it comes to rugby.

Can’t help it, I don’t know how modern fashion works (I have a horrible sense of fashion, my friends can attest to this) and sometimes folk / traditional outfits work for daily wear haha.
