well yes, i never intended no harm. but i'm not, under any cir***stances trying to be a hypocrite. i just wanted to state my opinion and leave it at that. i'm also not saying EVERYONE who participates in this trend will not donate, i'm just trying to say i can see not many people i know and see on my facebook not taking a stand and donating because they care more about likes on a photo than giving their money away to a great cause. :)

yeah but i don't see anyone donating to help find a cure, just saying. i think that's more of a point people want society to see. and it was just an example. but my original point is that i admit i don't see the point of posting selfies to facebook or any social media at that for "awareness" when i know for a fact there's probably like 3-5 girls on my facebook or more who are just doing it for likes and compliments. you want them to that everyone's beautiful, inside and out, and we should embrace that and with or without illness, we should embrace it. but me liking photos of my friends on facebook? if that's a crime, take me to court but i don't see how it is. so i don't see why you're wasting your time trying to prove a point on why i can't like photos on my own facebook of a trend i don't participate in or agree 100% with but RESPECT.

okay, i'm sorry but yes, you have that right. i don't exactly get the point of doing the whole "no makeup selfies". i know it's for awareness but awareness isn't going to change the fact there's still cancer out there killing our loved ones that selfies aren't going to help. but i respect everyone doing it and a lot of my friends are doing it and everyone is beautiful and if they choose to participate in the no makeup trend, they can. can i like the photos? yes i can. and why? because i'm a respectful person and think the people who do it are beautiful and i frankly don't see why i can't go liking my facebook friends' photos. and i know i said it'd be better to donate instead of taking pictures of yourself but i never said you should all together stop something you might think is FUN. so i think i got my point through. i can be respectful on something i don't agree on and like photos of it too, just like someone who respects gay marriage could not agree on it but still has that human right to like a photo that has to do with gay pride. :)
