Rangiku is from Rukon but we don't know much beyond that about her origins. Ada was born in Ireland to Irish parents, the family relocated to Japan when she was a baby- a few years after which saw her adopted by a well to do Japanese family when her birth parents died tragically. It was then when her new family changed her name from Ada to Aya.

When were you the most happy and why?
Ooc: The birth of my son. I've never seen something so tiny (he was premature), yet he was the most beautiful child I've ever laid eyes on. I remember for about six months I couldn't look at him longer than a few seconds without tearing up. I still get that way. His eyes were perfect and the way he looked at me... Sigh. We'd stare at each other forever it seemed, just watching each other. Searching one another's eyes. It was the deepest and strongest bond I've ever made with any other soul.
