Haven't done either for tutoring. To be completely honest, if you just practice a little bit every day, say 30 minutes of dedicated work, methods is pretty easy. Chemistry is hell but that's just cause I don't do anything for it and I hate it and I want to kms

Kinda funny you use Dunphy as an example. My view is a disparity between cultures. How often do you see the asians just kicking back and relaxing, going to parties every Saturday etc etc. You don't really. (Shane Lim cough haha) I think the Asians get top marks simply because culturally, and in our social circles, we are spurred on by expectations, and are used to that standard. Maybe it has something to do with our ethnicity, but I don't have enough knowledge on the topic to be a good source of information. All in all I think it is a difference of work ethic as a result of culture and our social norms.

I think lots of the hate Zhao cops is because of the past and his demeanor. In the past and to a far lesser extent now, he was very quick to escalate things to a physical confrontation, especially when it came to matters of pride. Also, he has what some people consider to be a very annoying and obnoxious way of being "cocky" for lack of a better word. I quote someone I talked to once in saying "Zhao is the most arrogant **** I've ever met in my life." I sorta agree and disagree with various parts of this analysis. Anyway, I think people only pick on his looks because of these features of him, not the other way around.

Can you explain to me what zhao did cause he seems like a harmless nice guy
Alright so basically right now I'll go over the entire fiasco as was seen from my perspective. Felix hosts a small gathering at his place. Daniel Chen (graduated guy) is in contact with Zhao somehow, and they rock up at 2AM, under Zhao's recommendation, because Chen has gambled away $2k which isn't his and needs to borrow cash. Felix thinks "wtf" as most normal people would, but seeing Chen's situation, agrees to lend him the $2000 with $100 "interest" every month until the money is paid back, with Zhao as an intermediary. Fast forward a little, and Felix is set to receive his first $100 from Chen through Zhao. Zhao hands over $50. This is problematic because Eric was a witness to Zhao having received all $100 from Daniel Chen, hence acquitting Chen of any wrongdoing. Felix asks where cash is, and Zhao fails to procure an answer. In the next few days, Felix approaches Zhao aggressively looking for his cash. Zhao refuses to fork out. Felix snatches Zhao wallet in class and takes $15, saying he expects the $35 the next day. Some days later, Zhao enters Language building second floor while Felix and a fairly large crowd are hanging around. Felix confronts Zhao and asks where $35 is. Zhao says incoherent things about how he doesn't want to talk about it in front of a crowd. In the end after some tense-ish scuffling, and heated yelling, Zhao leaves and doesn't really come to Language Building again during break times. The major issue isn't the disappearing cash. The real issue is that when given an opportunity to clear his name in front of a body of impartial people, he instead tries to wiggle out with statements like "it's none of their business". While this poses a somewhat valid point, he doesn't take initiative to clear out why the money disappeared at all, even in private. Even now when asked by other parties he refuses to be accountable with things like "Why do you care?" and doesn't offer anything that gives valid reason for the money to have disappeared. Nothing even as simple as "I lost it soz". Frankly, the fact he can't or won't offer any reasoning leaves us to believe that he took the money without thinking of consequences and now, does not want to answer to the consequences.
