Well it's difficult enough usually for me to start talking with somebody new, with that hanging over my head it would be far worse. For others, people don't usually like others being direct from the start on that subject, so easing into things and stalling a bit seems to be the way to go, but for me, if I had the opportunity to get a bit of information on the person, I don't think I'd dance around it for very long
