well I do admire him to an extent, his ability to wear a mask in order to get what he needs done is something I can relate to. He is one of the few characters that managed to make me wtf at some point ? and as much as I do admire him and his actions, there were also times where he was a douche bag when he could have been nice. So no, I'm not one of those people who only praise or shoot him down. If we long to believe that the stars rise and set for us, that we are the reason there is a universe, does science do us a disservice in deflating our conceits?
I would say it doesn't cause a disservice but rather gives us the truth. While not always favorable it usually is realistic. It puts us in our place to make us realise that we are just a small part of a large universe and even though the stars won't rise and set for us we can still enjoy watching them.
