long answer: depends? in high school i felt a huge sense of support from teachers and peers and you dont get that in uni. its like, you really have to learn how to step up and rely on nobody but yourself (so i guess its both good and bad?) also everything is so super fast paced, a semester is only 12 weeks and you get like 2 lectures a week honestly its already week 9 now but its feels like i just started last week and exams are just around the corner??? i dont even know what im studying anymore so help
im also someone who really enjoys (read: needs) social interaction.. and in the 6 months since hs ended ive already dropped contact with like.. 85% of my friends? and i find it really hard to make friends at uni because honestly it feels like everything relies on introductions or you having a group at the get-go because once things pick up, nobody really sits around trying to meet new people and for me its like.. @__@
but i guess if i had to pick one side or the other it would most definitely be enjoy. however im not gonna lie i often wake up and feel that i miss high school because even though its definitely the ''these are people youve known and seen every day for 4 years'' sort of friendship i honsetly really do miss the feeling of familiarity i guess. sigh. i feel like such an old person writing this.
