21 and still got into law LOLLL legit thought i was gonna get 10 did no study whatsoever
50/50 for VCE ATAR
for applying, legit apply anywhere like do anything. the more experience you get, the more you'll be able to do afterwards. like its better to have a s*cky job and experience for a couple of months than no experience on a resume. depends where you're going for interview! I'm gonna assume this is for retail. Make sure you go into the store and scope out the layout of the store, how the employees dress and even go online and research like some 'iconic' products. For my interview I had to sell baby clothes and I knew all about the wonder suit, baby sizes, fabrics and multi packs and deals they had so I was pretty confident when I spoke. Another girl was so good she was full like 'Chadstone layout is like this, so we should direct this customer here, here and here etc.' like she really knew that she was doing. Make sure you dress similarly to the way the employees who work there do, but always make sure to one up (it is an interview after all; keep it casual but look cute). Um i felt like I was really chill about the whole thing, I was really myself which I guess is kind of important. For retail especially, you want to make sure you'll be able to hold a conversation with anyone so let people speak, but also do a good amount of speaking. You can make up pre answers and if its a group interview make sure you have like basic ice breakers under ur belt (like 2 truths, 1 lie & like 3 interesting things about urself). Its pretty basic, but smiling and remaining eye contact is super important because it shows confidence and control (I play a game where I force myself not to look away first). Um and if they ask you to bring a resume, make sure your resume really stands out. Like instead of printing it on white paper, print it on blue paper or instead of using a plastic pocket, use a legit do***ent holder. It automatically makes you stand out on paper and it looks like you've put it on a ton of effort. and yaaaa hope that was helpful and made sense not even gonna edit it yolo
Hahaha nah just playin brando and I are solid
Tbh, especially in this day and age, it's so easy to fall into the trap of btching and backstabbing where I'm to the point of not caring too much. If I know who I am and I stay true to that, who cares what people have to say? I hang out with my friends bc I have fun with them, but with the deeper level stuff, I can handle that myself so really idc

honestly, practice essays are the best thing you could do for yourself. If you CBF doing a full practice essay, plan one with quotes included. Also, try to break down your novel into central themes, then divide one A4 page up to fit all of these themes. If you can summarise all your key ideas and quotes onto this sheet, you're set. This sheet is awesome for pre-sac nerves too, because everyone is stressing out, you're probably gonna feel it too, and by having this piece of paper, you can do some quick reading but not be overwhelmed because its only one sheet. ya feel??????
out loud is probably better because you're forcing yourself to vocalise and listen, whereas with reading silently there's tendency to skim read. I like to have a notebook out so I can take notes as I'm reading as well. The more you activate your brain (by doing various things), the more you're gonna remember.
day to day base: nars pure radiance tinted moisturiser. Going out: nars sheer glow.
i was pretty chilled during year 12 tbh. for me, the first term i was running on 100% and then i declined during the year and went back up during exams. to study in year 12 i did heaps of timed questions which was super useful but I'm a visual learner too, so i used the stupid A3 visual diaries that they made you buy in year 7 and i drew mind maps and made posters that was hella fun. i talked to myself heaps as well, like just discussing the content with myself lmao. like idk, it was pretty chill study. also dw, you have an entire year to make year 12 work, it takes time. just remember that although SACs are still important, your exam is more important. so just focus on learning content properly and saving your 10/10 energy for later on tbh i just rambled this entire time ok bye good luck friend
the more you know
first week has come and gone and it was such a stressful yet chilled week at the same time??? i mean a lot to get used to but theres heaps of down time so thats nice i guess

i never believed in, what i couldn't see, i never opened my heart, to all the possibilities....
don't rely on rote learning your work and ensure you can apply content - as of late, VCAA has started to merge 2 areas of studies into 1 question, therefore you'd be screwed if you rote learned instead of applied. pretty basic tbh but revise your content. i honestly barely studied for legal but i talked a lot about it with other students and stuff and that was my form of studying. i find that way a lot more questions come up and i think vocalising it clarifies it in my head. i think practicing timed questions is also really important, like you dont have to sit down and do a full 2 hour paper, but look at the mark allocation and try to adjust the time you spend on it based on that. also, do questions handwritten and stay away from your computer bc it'll only screw you over in your exam. lastly, structure ur answers. look for key words, they will tell you what the examiner wants to see. for example, if the question refers to Referendums, u can't go by without mentioning S128 of the constitution. through doing this, you'll be able to identify the structure of your answer
nope!

Down! I'm doing my makeup myself because I know my face best. I think that's the problem with getting makeup done, because everyone has different facial features and the makeup artist (unless they are properly trained and experienced) won't know what you like or what suits you best. So if anything, I'd suggest you go to someone who is familiar with your face/preferences or maybe go for a trial run with a makeup artist. As for places, just google it!
no not yet! the hem is still raw and super long need to get it done :ccccc any suggestions for good places?????

ok 1. there is nothing wrong with people recognising my accomplishments and recognising my own accomplishments because self-reflection is HEALTHY and also NORMAL. There should be no shame on evaluating my own decisions and congratulating myself on my achievements, and likewise, there should be no shame for you. 2. Do you spend every minute of everyday with me? How do you know I'm not productive? If Qoohme is a place where I can distract myself from my implied unproductive life, maybe in a sense it is productive? I have a medium to wind down and just chill out because balance is important. May I also ask how leaving this snarky comment is productive for you? Do you gain a sense of "self gratification"? Do what you have to do, but if you're hurting (or trying to hurt) people in the process, I think it is you who truly needs to do some reflection. 3. Hello? On what planet do you live? Literally almost everything that we find enjoyment in includes attention and self-gratification. Facebook? You want all the likes and friends. Instagram? Same thing. Even age-old sports are like that; you want to win and you want to know that you have the capacity to achieve. I unbashedly admit that qoohme is simply a forum where people can ask me questions and comprises of attention that i specifically have asked for by maintaining an account. And lastly, although Qoohme enables the anonymous function, it is merely my peers who leave me questions and opinions. Some of these statements I will value because they contribute to a more positive me, but silly and unnecessary comments such as yours, will be cast away to the back of my mind. Unless you are able to leave me something constructive and positive, I will not be phased by it. I am stronger than your frivolous comment and I hope that you are able to re-think your decision in leaving something this redundant and potentially damaging.
AHAHAHAH TRU DO IT HE'LL LOVE IT
Idk talk about the context you are in. Like if it's at work, talk about work and conversation should naturally spring from there. Or you could just straight up tell him you think he's beautiful i dare you.

Well excuse me this comment is actually incredibly rude. I don't understand your justification of saying something crude and slipping in a "no offence". You're entitled to your own opinion but whatever I really didn't need this comment. I have no idea what dress you're talking about, but I love mine so tbh idgaf.
