where there any elements from finn that u included in mikes character? (any story) how did u come up his personality? ofc every story is different but ultimately all the mikes have a certain coolness to them

there are minor things i took as inspiration from finn to add to the characters !

ad mike is a film & arts student bc of his passion for film (inspiration taken by finn)
and ptp mike is a skater boy as an inspiration taken by finn

i think the rest just unfolds naturally, the more i write them, the more their personalities sit. i try to develop them by seeing how mike/el would have chemistry in the story and just run from there
