tbh if we're looking at it in objective lenses civil war was about the two co-leaders of the avengers team, iron man and cpt america, and how their different views on how to deal with innocent civilian casualties split apart their team, so if anything its a stevetony angst film lmao
(i could go on and on about how cw was excellent in character studies on iron man AND captn america, esp w how they deal with casualties differently and their differing views on government, but at the end they both really have the same end goal - two sides of the same coin trope ONCE AGAIN which i am a BIG MAJOR S L U T FOR - but. cough. that's for another time)
