Still to me it's not a good idea, the problem is once you start blurring lines you inviting drama. I known dozens of people who mix the two and have drama and problems. People ask me "how come you hardly get any drama". It's because I keep things seperate.
For example, let's say I started RP dating someone but I told them it's strictly RP. Let's say they also know my RL details etc. I then have to worry about them crossing that line bringing RP into my RL.
Also there is a difference between RL and Online friends. There is nothing wrong with casual stuff and if you want to mix RL/RP that's fine.
I am not saying I haven't met decent people in RP. There is Kitten, My maid and others.
You aren't your character and your character isn't you. Mixing the two mainly emotions never ends well at all.

Well there is nothing wrong with an Erotic RP if your into that. To me, however, such a thing needs to have taste, like just thirsty people wanting to fck to fck is appealing to me like eating a brick would be.
I just don't like it and don't do it. To me if one is going to have an RP like that there needs to be backing for it, why is it happening? that kind of stuff.

I actually wrote something about this ages ago in great detail let me see if I can't find it.
So today I thought to write what I think of the very character I RP so without pause lets get to this.
First, off her looks, I love her colors, to be frank, the way her eyebrows, hair, and eyes all match up. They also play an important role her features you see help represent her character Esdeath is a cold killer, she is a woman who doesn't value or cares about anyone she considers weak. She will let others die so she can have her wars, she will end millions to get what she wants. Nor does she give any fcks about it, now let me say. If you think her genocide like ways is cool that's fcked up no one should like this about her character to the point they admire her for it. Even her ice powers represent who she is on the inside in a way.
She is a very very bad person and I'll be the first to say she deserved her death all the way. Now you may think “why do you even like her then”.
I like those aspects of her has a character, that shes unwavering and will do what she wants to cause she that badass about it. However, I also liked how kind she could be to those she thought showed promise. She is loyal and would never turn her back on a friend. Even though she believed if someone died they are weak and deserved it, you could tell she still showed sorrow at their loss in her own way. Despite all of her evil traits, there was still a human side to her character.
This, of course, does not excuse her methods, the innocents she killed just to ignite a flame. She also enjoyed torturing in extreme methods that are frankly wrong to every core. She loved to inflict pain to find better ways to do it. Making the death long and slow more agonizing than anything else. This was how she got her kicks in many ways, her enjoyment in life came from killing and torture. Why she enjoyed small things also like time with her team but the two aspects I name first are the main traits of the sadist general.
The thing is what I like about this is, she didn't do it for $exual pleasure unlike most anime females do. You see Manga/Anime is mostly made to appeal to Asian's they don't care what Americans or Europeans think because their main market is Asia. I liked that she didn't do it for $exual gratification she did it because she found it fun and entertaining. Again in RL, this is not something you should like about a person. However, I enjoy that she like most female MC's such has Erza Scarlet who is $exualized beyond all belief and became popular due to that with men and some females. it was due to her actions with Esdeath her mindset, her views, the way she did things. I liked that here was a character to shattered all the notions that you need to flash your t*** and body to be super popular. Sure she had two fan service moments but that’s going to happen in anime.
It didn't dictate who she was, she became a character who was defined by her homicidal actions rather than her body. Yeah she is super hot and I'd do her no lie there and I am a woman. I think her skirt and leggings are smexy has fck V_V.
Now the thing here is she's not comparing people to her, she understands people have limits to her, however. If one cannot overcome those limit they are weak. It's, for this reason, she showed interest in people she believed had talents like Wave, Tatsumi, and others. She could show kindness and she did at times, she showed that she wasn't consumed by her dark methods that no matter what she was who she wanted to be. No one or thing could change that about her, she was a dark woman with a slight cute side granted she didn't ever show it really. She could comfort those she had faith in, she could open herself up if she so chooses. Even when the danger beast blood got into her and tried to command her to do things she already liked to do. She was prideful of her skills and her own self she earned everything she had. She didn't believe people should be handed things.
To her, you are responsible for yourself no one else. If you cannot earn what you desire on your own who are you to demand aid and help from those who have?. She was given no help in life, she made things happen for her and thus you have where her pride comes from. The way she carries herself around others, Yet she wants other to do this. She wants people to know if you can do it, do it don't be held down by anything push yourself, push those limits. Become a true person.
She wouldn't have it, her will made her impossible control or corrupt. Here I saw a character who was a monster, a human, a good person when she wanted to be all mixed into one person. Her character to me should have been explored more. There is far so much to a character like her and it makes me sad people look at her in such a $ex-based view.
Now onto the Tatsumi sht, many people who know me know I HATE IT. Why? Because that rat wasn't supposed to exist in the start did you know they added him last minute to appeal to male fans? Akame was supposed to be the MC but she got pushed back due to it. I also hate how they had her “fall in love”. They only added that because they wanted to add drama. It should never have existed in the first place. Her personality doesn't even support it, you can tell she carried herself with high pride in herself. She does not settle for anything other then what she considers worth. They totally bashed her character to make that Tatsumi sht work. I was frankly insulted by it.
She would not settle for anything other than the perfect guy in her eyes period. Here is the thing there was no man in that series or woman that was right for her. She should never have had love feelings. I am not saying it can't happen but how they did it? No way.
Now here is the thing with her character she has a very specific mindset, she doesn't waste time with pointless people. She only likes specific types of people, so don't be surprised if she doesn't want to deal with someone because most of the time she considers 99 percent of people worthless to her and not deserving of her attention. I try to stick close to this when I RP her, She will not get along with many characters on a personal level. She will not tolerate them around her, she will not waste her time with certain types. It's against her character to deal with someone she finds foolish unless she must.
I stick close to her character in RP, I will never make her anything other then what she is. Yes, this makes her hard to deal with but that's the thing she is Esdeath. Beyond those pretty eyes rests a mind that few can hope to understand, she won't smile at you. Act like a friend or anything she doesn't want friends. She has people she does respect, she doesn't force her views onto others. She can like people. She is capable of so many things it's really hard to say it. Her personality is so complex and vast yet she's also very simple in what she does and likes. She doesn't like to make things out to be a waste of time or complex. Shes very forward and dislikes bullsht.
I decided to play her because well here I have a character who is capable of crimes that make Hitler look like a not so bad guy. Yet with a kind heart to a point, The way she acts, carries herself. Everything about her is gold to me. Complicated, yet simple and simple beautiful yet ugly in many ways. She wasn't a perfect character she had flaws, she knew she did but she never let anything get her own. She always kept her head high no matter what. She is what a character should be, to me Esdeath represents what a character once was before to me all the fandoms, comic relief and $ex got pumped into anime.
